Here are three 9-minute examples of music scoring for Documentaries. Each soundtrack was created for the History Channel through Kurtis Productions in Chicago.

Search for the Lost Tomb of Genghis Khan​

A history of Genghis Khan's vast conquests and the search for his mythic Tomb, called for a mix of musical instrument sounds and motifs from across Russia, Asia and the Middle East, tied together with pounding Mongol war drums amidst ghostly sound design.

The Dalton Gang's
​Last Ride

The day the Dalton Gang tried to rob 2 banks in the same town at the same time... A ballad theme is established on acoustic guitar suggesting a Legend in the making. The same brass riff used to denote the bad guys is inverted to create the rallying theme of the town's people as they surround both banks and shoot it out with the Dalton's, until the entire gang is bloody or dead!

Who Killed
​Jane McCrea?

Jane McCrea's mysterious murder is said to have spurred on American troops at Saratoga in the Revolutionary War. A sad tale is carried first by solo instruments, like ghosts trying to reveal their secrets. Haunting sound design pierces the score as each new clue is unveiled.
