When a client's image media is supplied in less than optimal quality, extensive retouching and color correction is needed. I've learned several tricks along the way, such as adding 'focus' to facial features while blurring background helps reduce the presence of visual distraction. Other Photoshop tricks involve compositing images to create an image that never really existed.
